Facilities

The NMR Laboratory of DQ-UFSCar is equipped with four (4) equipments from BRUKER, models AVANCE III 14.1 and 9.4 Tesla with following accessories:

  • Equipment 1 - 14.1 Tesla (600 MHz for hydrogen frequency) with auto sample, 5 mmn cryo-probe with ATMA® (Automatic Tunning MAtching), field gradiente in the z directionm, 5 mm TXI probe head with ATMA®, temperature unit control, cryo-fit® unit and LC-SPE system.
  • Equipment 2 - 9.4 Tesla (400 MHz for hydrogen frequency) with auto sample, 5 mm BFO probe head with ATMA®, gradient field unit and temperature control unit - used for routine propose.
  • Equipment 3 - 9.4 Tesla (400 MHz for hydrogen frequency) with five (5) probe head: two 2.5 mm BBO and TXI, two 5 mm BBO and BBI and one 5 mm BBI with ATMA®; temperature control unit, gradient field unit and auto sample.
  • Equipment 4 - 9.4 Tesla (400 MHz for hydrogen frequency) with 4 mm for solid sample CP/MAS, HR/MAS for semi solid material and 10 mm for liquid sample - equipment dedicated for solids/semi solid and polymers study.

This facilities allows we make the most usual NMR experiments in the liquid, semi-solid state and solids 1D: (1H, 13C{1H}, seletive NOESY, DEPT, CP/MAS, MAS, SNIF-NMR, qNMR, five batch analysis, etc) and 2D: (COSY, NOESY, ROESY, HSQC, HMBC, TOCSY, DOSY, etc), as well as we have executed experiments with various nucleos, as much through direct detection as indirect like: (2H, 7Li, 15N, 19F, 27Al, 29Si, 31P, 59Co, 77Se, 113Cd, 117Sn, 123Te, 195Pt, 199Hg, etc).
